Megawarm® Carpet/Vinylfoil heating mat kits are industry leading heating systems that can be used as a primary heating source. When used in conjunction with MegaWarm® XPS or Classic Underlay, the warmup time and running costs can be reduced as much as 25%. Making Megawarm® Carpet/Vinyl foil heating mats the perfect solution to radiant heating under engineered and laminate floors (please check recommended installation method).

 

MegaWarm® 140w Carpet/Vinyl  heating mats comprise of fluoropolymer (Teflon) coated, dual-core resistive heating cables. The cables are encased between two layers of heat reflective aluminium foil. The specific spacing of the heating elements, encased by the two layers of aluminium foil provide even heat distribution. Making fitting the MegaWarm® 140w Carpet/Vinyl foil heating mat suitable for any DIY enthusiast. All electrical connections must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

 

Megawarm® cable heating systems are constructed using a multi strand wire composite making them extremely durable and very strong.

 

Megawarm® Carpet/Vinyl heating mat kits come with everything required to install the Megawarm® underfloor heating system, meaning there is no need for any additional components. Everything you need in a box.

 

Please Note: Choose an electric underfloor heating mat that will cover 90% of your floor area. It is best to order slightly less than you need as the cables CAN NOT be cut or shortened.

 

The MegaWarm® Carpet/Vinylheating mat system MUST be used with either xps or classic EPS underlay insulation boards. Please refer to the specific installation guide.

 

This product is NOT SUIITABLE for use directly beneath LVT / Vinyl / Linos. When installing beneath these products HeatPak Dual Overlay must be used.
